Working with small and medium sized companies for 10 years we noticed a common thread.  These organizations were struggling to fill the full time positions of administrative assistant and safety co-ordinator with one skilled worker who only required casual full time work but possessed all the field, interpersonal, clerical, boardroom and database skills they needed.  With a wish list like that its' no wonder businesses everywhere are coming upon the same hurdles.  They are desperately trying to meet the increasing demands of industry and government in regards to safety but don't have the time, energy or resources to throw at the problem.  The result is either an owner operator with few computer skills attempting to build word documents and charts or an administrative worker struggling to understand what safety is all about.
